Up in the Clouds Baby Shower

When people come together to love on women who need support, encouragement and just someone to be there, that is exactly what happened at this baby shower. We had small businesses, individual sponsors for gift baskets, a church and volunteers who came through to give these ladies a beautiful shower they will never forget.

Brite Up NWA

As soon as we knew we were going to do a shower for the moms, we started thinking of things that were trendy and in style that would give the shower a "wow" factor. Brite Up NWA was so amazing to bring some marquee letters and even volunteer during the shower. These letters lit up, added such a charm to the shower and so thankful to have built a connection with this small business.

Lemon and Puff

Since we had 6 moms who were having boys and girls, we went with a neutral theme baby shower: up in the clouds. When you think of clouds, the first thing that comes to mind is cotton candy. Cotton candy was just what we needed to personalize for each mom. Lemon and Puff isn't just any original cotton candy though. Their sugars are vegan, kosher, certified organic & gluten free. The perfect little treat to have at any event.

107 Main Collective

A huge shoutout to this venue for allowing us to host the shower here. Settled right in the downtown area it was the perfect location for our shower. We were able to split up the two rooms they have for a photoshoot area and then the bigger room for the actual shower. We wanted a place where moms can gather with one another and share conversations.

Bake My Day

Every shower also needs that yummy cake after all the savory stuff. Sydnee was quick to donate her services with a beautiful cookies and cream cake. The cake turned out so beautiful that I did not want to cut into it.

Our Sponsors and Volunteers

As a community and as a non profit it was such a blessing to see so many want to help serve this shower in some way. We had individuals who sponsored each mom by providing them with a gift basket each that had a variety of baby things. We also had volunteers who helped host, and bring in finger foods for the moms to snack on.

To end the gifts we had a local church who made each mom a handmade quilt and burp cloth for the new little bundle of joy. Each blanket was so unique and designed with such love. The ladies from the church worked so hard in putting this quilts together for each mom and the smiles on their faces when they opened them was such a heart warming thing to see.

They say it takes a village to raise a child and without all the amazing people that came together for this shower, we would have not been able to give these girls this wonderful shower. Most importantly, these moms were shown how people they have never met before chose to love on them by showering them with gifts and more. We strive on being their for each family one at a time; building relationships with them and providing them with the resources they need.
